I'm hoping to do this every Monday and just let you know what I'm listening to. I listen to a variety of genres, I'm open to everything. Right now, I am loving Glass Pear, his voice is so soothing and his music is awesome! You might have heard his music on The Vampire Diaries and Grey's Anatomy. He's very talented and I would love for you all to check him out! I'm in love with his song "Wild Place", I can hear that song over and over and over again. I highly recommend that song and this artist. When I'm having a bad day or when I just need to listen to some mellow music to chill out to @glasspear does the job. :) What are you listening to?

ReplyDeleteSo this is my review of the Glee episode, Bad Reputation. Let me start by saying that I was a Theatre Major in college and so I know more than a little about musical comedies and the rules they employ. I really enjoyed how they embraced those rules so you can have these elaborate dance and music routines pop out of nowhere.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite characters are Rachel Berry and Will Schuester. I really want to see where the characters of Puck and Sue Sylvester. Musically, the entire cast meshes together well and the production values on the music sequences are amazing. What were my favorite songs from this episode? I liked Total Eclipse of the Heart at the end and Ice Ice Baby at the beginning. This episode reminded me of lip synching acts that we did in an acting class in my freshman year of high school. I used to do these elaborate dance sequences that were just awful. They would have been good had I had a background in dance but as a teenager you sometimes think you are much better than you really are. A few years ago, I would have been terrified had they been released on YouTube but now I think I could laugh at myself and let it go.
Ok, so that's my review. Thank you so much for recommending this show to me and for being the kind, thoughtful and supportive person that you are.
i'm glad you liked the episode and rachel and will are also my favorites on the show as well. the total eclipse of the heart number they did was so amazing. i think it was the best one they did all season and would love for them to do more heart felt ballads like that. i'm glad you liked it and hopefully you'll see the previous episodes those are also really well. thank you for letting me know what you thought about it! i love hearing feedback from people who watch the show and see what they think about it. :)
